<image:title>Home - Passion for Transformation</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi, My name’s Pitu. I am a Manager in Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy and Transactions practice, specializing in integrations and separations. While I partner with clients across industries, my work often focuses on large-scale transactions in the Financial Services and Energy sectors. I’m passionate about helping organizations transform into more sustainable and resilient enterprises. My experience spans Corporate Strategy, M&A execution and planning (including Day 1 & Day 2 readiness and Command Center setup), as well as Supply Chain Management across sourcing, procurement, and supply chain optimization. As an Education Pioneers alumnus, an immigrant from a working-class background, and a member of the New Leaders Council, I’m deeply committed to aligning my professional impact with broader societal challenges. At Deloitte, I strive to embed this sense of purpose into the work I deliver for clients and communities alike. Before joining Deloitte, I earned my MBA from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business, concentrating in Business Analytics, Information Management, and Marketing. I’ve held diverse roles across industries-leading application development projects, managing district-wide education policy reform initiatives, driving global HR transformation programs, and product managing enterprise-level task management systems. I also hold a BS in Applied Economics and a BA in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - Leadership with Purpose</image:title>
<image:caption>As the first person in my family to graduate from high school, college, and graduate school, I recognize that I owe my journey to grace, gratitude, grit—and above all, to the generosity of the mentors who supported me along the way. Grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, I’m always seeking ways to pay it forward. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering with organizations dedicated to strengthening communities and empowering the next generation of leaders.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Me - Hi! I’m Pitu!</image:title>
<image:caption>The short story I am a tech enthusiast, strategy geek, policy junkie and rule breaker of the “rule of three”. I am a problem solver, organizer, and storyteller. Whether I am learning something new or diving deep into the familiar, I communicate with purpose, direction, and clarity. An introvert at heart, I am a proven leader but an even better teammate. Beyond the office or classroom, I enjoy great espresso and conversations. I also love hiking and have recently found a passion for volleyball. The longer story Born in a small village in Kampung Cham, Cambodia, I was whisked away at age three and found my home in Providence, Rhode Island, where my mother worked tirelessly to build a better life for our family. I’m a proud product of the public school system, with a Bachelor’s in Applied Economics from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from Arizona State University. I was the first in my family to graduate high school (my mom nearly beat me earning her GED just weeks later) and pursue higher education.</image:caption>

<image:title>Professional Experience - Deloitte Consulting Strategy + M&A</image:title>
<image:caption>Throughout my time at Deloitte, I have partnered with clients across a range of industries to execute M&A and strategic initiatives, with an emphasis on integrating sustainability and long-term environmental impact considerations. Highlights of my experience include: MedTech Industry: Supported a client in evaluating cost and waste reduction opportunities within the European market, identifying a potential $50M savings by transitioning to electronic Instructions for Use (eIFUs). Banking Sector: Assisted a multinational banking client with a $13B merger that expanded their footprint in the Southeast U.S., positioning them among the largest banks nationally and globally. Energy and Chemicals: Helped plan and execute a $10B+ divestiture of chemical manufacturing and processing operations for a global energy company, enabling the client to refocus on core business priorities.</image:caption>

My responsibilities included overseeing the implementation of health and wellness, applicant tracking, and learning management systems. Additionally, I supported the successful integrations of HR systems following Avison Young’s acquisitions.</image:caption>

<image:title>Professional Experience - UNFI: Application Development + Brand Redesign</image:title>
<image:caption>As part of UNFI’s efforts to transition our customers online, I was responsible for assisting with the project management of iUNFI, our mobile B2B ordering application for customers like Whole Foods, Wegman’s, etc. When I left, in 2016, our revenues from online orders grew from $500M to $1B. When UNFI underwent a brand redesign, my team was tasked with implementing Marketing’s vision onto our digital and online assets, including unfi.com and its related companies (including Woodstock Farms, Tony’s Fine Foods). This included optimizing our B2B customer onboarding inquiry form, ensuring consistent UI/UX across websites and resolving technical (e.g. latency) issues in the QA and Sandbox environment.</image:caption>
